Description
The new PetSafe Spray Bark Collar uses a burst of spray to help deter nuisance barking and whining. Refiling is now easier with the use of PetSafe replaceable spray cartridges instead of the old messy top up cannisters. For added convenience the Spray Bark collar is also rechargeable.
The collar module is positioned directly over the vocal chords. A sensor on the collar detects the sound and vibration of your dog’s bark and triggers a short burst of spray in front of the dog’s nose. The multi-sensory stimulation of the spray noise, mist on the snout and the Citronella smell temporarily distract him from the bark cycle. The consistent repetition of the spray with every bark trains your dog not to bark when the collar is on.
The spray is harmless to humans and dogs and disperses quickly in most environments. Some dogs may be sensitive to the scent of the Citronella so an Unscented cartridge is also available.
The PetSafe Spray Bark Collar is 100% safe for all dogs – even puppies! It works best for mild mannered pet dogs, puppies, elderly dogs and those with sensitive or timid natures.
If you have a headstrong dog or a very prolific barker, especially a working or hunting breed, the PetSafe Spray Bark Collar is unlikely to be effective. The single shot of spray is not a strong enough correction. We recommend a rechargeable static pulse bark collar such as the SportDOG SBC-R which is 98% effective in solving nuisance barking problems.
